Parents!
Turn a big profit on all those years you invested, training yr offspring to obey voice commands: Give sane orders.
Sample sane orders: “Come forth & fulfill yr heart’s desire”
“Live long, and prosper”
“Do yr best & forget about the rest”
“Cultivate yr secret garden” …
We at Ensorcelled Broom are rummaging through the collectiveconscious for more sane orders. Got any?

Oh and for gods sakes don’t mention grammar nazis. I’ll be forced to resume the argument as to whether I think I should be outraged or die laughing at Sage’s playing of Tim’s grammar nazi story. I flipflop between the two on a regular basis and have settled upon laughing while at the clever wordplay while being disturbed at the material.

Ooo – that’s a good one. Fits well with the question authority as well as usually one is moved to question when they have a gut feeling something isn’t quite right.

Hey Phoenix—my mom actually said variations on the ‘believe you are capable of anything’. I always knew she’s ahead of her time. I must say, at 51 years old, I still use it to keep expanding my horizons and following my ‘on the beam’ self.
