Ensorcelled Broom Sweeps

By kiteweather

Parents!

Turn a big profit on all those years you invested, training yr offspring to obey voice commands:  Give sane orders.

Sample sane orders: “Come forth & fulfill yr heart’s desire”

                                 “Live long, and prosper”

“Do yr best & forget about the rest”

                                  “Cultivate yr secret garden” …

We at Ensorcelled Broom are rummaging through the collectiveconscious for more sane orders.  Got any?

    Love each other.

Take care of your sister, she will be your strength when you need it.

  2. Red Rover Says:

    Expect Nothing.

  3. Red Rover Says:

    Keep a dictionary at hand.

  4. kiteweather Says:

And the RedRover returns! what a luckout, not just a heckler, but also a grammarnazi….

  5. kiteweather Says:

todd enlarges on his suggested sane order:
    question authority
on post called Dos Donts & Question Authority…

  6. Todd Tyrtle Says:

    Abovementioned post is here: http://tyrtle.wordpress.com/2008/05/29/dos-donts-and-questioning-authority/

  7. Todd Tyrtle Says:

Oh and for gods sakes don’t mention grammar nazis. I’ll be forced to resume the argument as to whether I think I should be outraged or die laughing at Sage’s playing of Tim’s grammar nazi story. I flipflop between the two on a regular basis and have settled upon laughing while at the clever wordplay while being disturbed at the material.

    Trust your instincts.

  9. Todd Tyrtle Says:

Ooo – that’s a good one. Fits well with the question authority as well as usually one is moved to question when they have a gut feeling something isn’t quite right.

  10. Soaring Phoenix Says:

Expect anything – the universe is an amazing place and anything could happen – and does.

Believe that you are capable of anything

    Be passionate about something

Be human and remember that others are also

  11. Red Rover Says:

Hey, i was referring to the possibility of reading a blog where one has the opportunity to expand one’s vocabulary — by looking up such words as “ensorselled”.

  12. kiteweather Says:

eek teahouse-apologies for misinterpreting yr comment and yow! callin you a grammarnazi, oy that was harsh! to further demonstrate my great regret, you are promoted to Boss Heckler.

  13. kymara badger Says:

Hey Phoenix—my mom actually said variations on the ‘believe you are capable of anything’. I always knew she’s ahead of her time. I must say, at 51 years old, I still use it to keep expanding my horizons and following my ‘on the beam’ self.
