Very well then!  All known dragonsong recordings are now officially lostinspaceiji, so we’re figurin how best to procede from start.  We are pursuin a coupla avenues of approach, and meanwhile we’re presently practisin:

                                                  I’m Not Perfect Yet, Life’s A Dangerous Business, & the warmup song… oh yeah and Dagda has requested that Eventually one….oh right, and I’m gonna do the kittyditty for Sagey, the only person on the planet who still knows all the words.  (Woo what an interesting childhood, hmmmmm)

                                                     Update:  Now the recordings are found.  Even the packrat-piss tape is still hearable, though a’course we hafta clean the heads after we play it and all that business, and meanwhile Kymara & Kite cleaned the heads on the two cassette players that still work, and hark&lo they bounced back pretty good.  Then Badger brought the mike from the kareoke machine that never worked up to the Coop  & Kitey found the mike-plug adapter right in the copperbowl where she expected it to be, and ta-dah!  another recording studio is born.  Also pretty soon we will be in the dry months & can gear up the barn oasis, which’s the best recording studio of all — oh & Mebbe, we can put the keyboard on the ironing board for the oasis, & we already have a good setup for in the Coop — they are both stand-ups…

                                                                     The conjure about the RockyHorror rendition of the Elvis Song is as follows:  That will go up on a password-protected post, and Lolly&Hook can give the password to whoever they please — cool huh?  (Oh also the password-protected possibility is cool too on account of grongles about copyrighted-other-people’s music ferinstance the morningglory song is a melody from a copyright song, comprendé?)

                                                           Pokey has shot some 15second movieclips that are reliable vehicles.

                                                            We are doin 2 actual videos w/Glen in the near future like maybe friday at which time we will discover more about that technology (it’s Glen’s camera).  But who knows maybe he’ll let Pokey do the actual shoot — she is gonna do some 15second shots to show Glen what we’re shootin for…  Also Pokey has taken it on to be the soundtech/computertech interface.  As she is presently limited to 10-minute computersessions on account of temporary back&shoulder grongle, it is very fortunate that she is a quick study…

update 2:  Thunderstorms kaboshed videoshoot.  Then grr I remembered right tho cybercafe is open on mondays we cant ever do it monday because Glen requires day-before notice to bring the camera, so next possible would have been tuesday except hee-hee guitarstrings gave up the ghost yesterday afternoon hence hafta be replaced so that’s likely four-five days before they will hold a tuning through even one song….

Pokey has given us her wish-list for radioshack re: the postin already-recordeds, & Badger Dagda & I are goin to town today for laundry-doin & also it’s farmer’s market day.  Yesterday after the guitarstrings died me n’Badger really nailed “O Come Around” usin the keyboard — o by the way Q, it is actually a calypso beat, not reggae….O my people, expend no worrifications upon the ruthless, for they shall be ruthed.

Update 4:  As is the way of dragonian electronics, the tapeplayer went berserko when Pokey tried to use it for the project.  Now Q has brought Kymara an adequately long screwdriver so she can take it apart and see if it is fixable.  We had a fine oasal-warming sing under the hackberrry tree today, Q broke one of the cinnamon rythmnsticks in her enthusiam and Pokey took some video.

Update3:  Fired up the Oasis last night, unearthed all the half-buried-in-dirt coffeemugs & washed them, noted that the hackberry branch from which we used to hang one of the mikes is wo too high to serve as mike boom now.  Hooklenanda signed off on the Elvis song so we dont hafta do password, & we are pretty much ready to go on that one, whew, as Badger is leavin pretty soon now.  Also I will like to remark that the lizard who was squirming wildly in the ceiling between the insulation & the plastic was, like, totally tone-deaf.
